Classical Music
So far as I can recall, I started to like classical music when I was still a young boy. In my childhood, almost all the music played at home is classical. Years and years, those classical melodies were so closely around me that I can recall all scores. Now, they are my favourate. No matter how many times I have listened, I never get tired of them. They can take me to the ancient europe in the imaginary world. They also can heal my sorrow and give me encouragement in the real world. For me, those melodies will company me forever and never fade with time.

Chinese Original Rock
It was in junior school that I started to like Chinese Original Rock. The first Rock album I have ever listened is the one on the left which named "Dreaming back to Tang Dynasty". I was really attracted by the fascinating lyrics and the passion of singers. Those songs also brought me three best friends. At that time, we listened to the same music together and share our feelings. We would sing together when we were wandering in the city. Sometimes we would also wrote articles to express the feelings we experienced. To me, those songs were no longer just music but rather friendship and passion. That was the most precious time during my life. Although I do not often listen to new Chinese origial rocks recently, those old ones remind me of the good old days with my friends.

different style to sing this song. But sounds better and stimulating.

Movie Sound Track
I forgot to mention that I am also a cinephile. Watching movies is my main entertainment during spare time. Comedies of serious movies are all my favorate. I enjoy wathing comedy with my friends and appreciating some serious movies all by myself. One of the best and most convenient way to revise my favorate movie is listening to the sound track. Some of the sound tracks are not easy to get, but I try my best. Often, I lie down on my bed at 2am, put on my headphone and enjoy the music in the dark.
| Movie | Sound Track | Comments |
| Forest Gump | I'm Forest...Forest Gump (Alan Silvestri) | Terrific
starting music for the movie. A typical reflection of the history of USA
in the recent 30 years. The determination of Gump might be the most stimulating
element of the movie. |
| Tango Lesson | The Libertango (Yoyo Ma) | One
of my favorate movie. Full of passion from Tango. Unfortunately, it is
produced so early that it is difficult to get the DVD now. I once tried
to learn Tango, but it's really hard. |
| Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon | Green Destiny-Love Theme (Yoyo Ma, Tan Dun) | Winner of Best Original Score and Best Foreign Language Film of Oscar. The typical Chinese culture make it the most beautiful movie for most westerners. |
| Inferno Affairs | Bei Yi Wang de Shi Guang (Qin Cai) | The
best Hong Kong movie in the recent five years. A collection of famous
stars, together with the intriguing story, made it a fatastic movie. Thus,
the old song from Cai Qin became famous again. Often, it is used to test
the quality of many audio system. |
| Schindler's List | Theme from Schindler's List (John Williams, Perlman) | One
of the five best scores in 90's. Bring you deep to the real Nazi Camp.
The timbre of violin exactly reflect the sorrow back to WW II. Better
not to listen to it alone at night. It's hard to bare the sorrow. |
| Cinema Paradiso | Love Theme (Josh Groban, Itzak Perlman) | A
typical Italian movie. The cooperaton of the best singer and violin make
the theme incredibly peaceful and romantic. |
