Abstract
So I've been playing this sport called Ultimate (frisbee) for like, 12 years now. When I was 11, I tried out for my middle school's team, and at the first practice I accidentally ran headfirst into an 8th grader. He got up fine, but I rolled on the ground and cried for like, 10 minutes. Anyway, that guy's a professional Ultimate player now, and somewhat unsurprisingly, I'm not. Actually, I still can't seem to convince my parents that I'm playing an actual sport - every time I tell them about it they get confused because they think I'm taking part in some kind of plate-related ballet routine, and how do you score on someone in a dance? So yeah, I need an outlet to justify the last decade of my life by convincing at least some people that Ultimate is a cool and/or real sport - please come if you are interested in learning more (or if you want to express your sympathies for my traumatic childhood head injury).
