Am I any sort of expert on music? No. Have I sampled enough music from around the world to form an educated opinion? No. Is my opinion biased from growing up mostly on a diet of Pakistani music? Possibly. Did I choose this title intentionally to rile you up just enough to attend the talk and challenge my bold claim? Absolutely. Pakistan has a rich history of producing incredibly talented artists in wide ranging genres and I’d like to share with you some of the brilliant characters, fascinating stories and, of course, the best music from our part of the world.
