About Me

I am a 26-year-old Masters graduate originally from Markham, Ontario, Canada. I worked under Dr. Karon MacLean and Dr. Joanna McGrenere as a member of the Sensory Perception and Interaction Research Group (SPIN) until August 2010. My research was focused on developing and evaluating haptics-centred interaction paradigms for systems driven by autonomously derived human affect models.

Outside of computers, I am a contract technical writer, user experience designer/web developer and musician.
