AI/GI/VI '98 is a unique event with three Canadian research conferences that present the latest results in artificial intelligence, computer graphics and computer vision. Each conference offers three concurrent days of invited and submitted papers.
The three conferences are the Canadian Artificial Intelligence Conference sponsored by the Canadian Society for the Computational Studies of Intelligence (CSCSI), the Graphics Interface conference, sponsored by the Canadian Computer-Human Communications Society (CHCCS) and the Vision Interface conference sponsored by the Canadian Image Processing and Pattern Recognition Society (CIPPRS).
For a single registration fee, participants can attend presentations in any of the three conferences, promoting the exchange of knowledge among these important disciplines. A banquet and electronic theater provide additional opportunities to meet speakers and other attendees for informal discussions in a social setting.
The 1998 Conferences will be held at the Simon Fraser University's Harbour Centre campus, in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia. Vancouver is located on the Canadian West Coast and is Canada's third largest city. The Vancouver International Airport is served by major airlines directly from many North American and international cities.
