Hi! This is Charles here. I am a first year graduate student (joined in September, 2009) in University of British Columbia. Of course, just like how you find this webpage, I am a student from Computer Science department. As for my research area, I am interested in database and datamining, which is what DMM group aims for.
I finished my Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering in Zhejiang University, which locates in a beautiful city named Hangzhou from China. I spent four years there and really enjoyed my time. In those days, I learned some basic knowlege about computer stuff.
Also, I was born in Shenzhen and spent my first 18 years living there. It lies in the south part of China. It is a city you definitely would have fun there. ;) .
